PharmaNex (Pty) Ltd (registration 2025/962749/07) respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
- Waitlist and survey details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, area and any message.
- When the app launches: account details, delivery address, order history and, with your explicit consent, health and prescription information (special personal information under POPIA).
- Basic technical data such as browser type, used only to keep the site working.
Why we use it
- To manage the waitlist and tell you about our launch.
- To process and deliver orders through partner pharmacies once the service is live.
- To let a registered pharmacist verify e-prescriptions before scheduled medicine is released.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the partner pharmacy and delivery driver handling your order, and service providers who help us run PharmaNex under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your personal information.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and we aim to host data in South Africa.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@pharmanex.online. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
